Mike Hoseus Senior Consultant Mike received extremely in-depth Toyota training in Japan to prepare for his front line supervisory responsibilities in manufacturing for the start up of Toyota’s first greenfield plant in North America. With continued training from Japanese trainers and executives, he quickly rose through the ranks to Assistant General Manager responsible for vehicle assembly operations, maintenance and engineering. As Assistant General Manager in Human Resources, his responsibilities included personnel, safety, HR development, employee relations, benefits, training, and manufacturing/human resource teams for a plant of 8,000 team members. His major initiative was development of the enhanced relationship between Human Resources and Manufacturing. He is a Toyota Certified Trainer in Global Problem Solving & Waste Reduction, Standardized Work and Kaizen Events, and can provide you with the same training given to all new Toyota managers, group leaders and team leaders.
